Therapist & Yoga Teacher in MOrzine
Leslie-Ann Glen: MSc Psychology, CBT, EMDR
How I work
My approach integrates evidence-based psychological therapies with mindfulness and somatic practices. I draw primarily on CBT and EMDR, while also working relationally and developmentally — paying close attention to early experiences, attachment patterns, core beliefs, and the role of the nervous system in shaping emotional and behavioural responses.
Therapy with me is collaborative, structured, and adapted carefully to each person’s needs and capacity. Alongside practical tools for emotional regulation and coping, we explore underlying patterns with curiosity and compassion, working at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Where appropriate, I integrate EMDR to process unresolved or developmental trauma, and mindfulness-based practices to support awareness, stability, and self-connection.
I aim to provide a grounded, contained space where complex experiences can be explored without judgement, and where change can unfold gradually and meaningfully.
About Leslie
Hi, I’m Leslie — an integrative therapist and yoga teacher based in Morzine. I hold a Masters in Psychology (MSc) and am certified in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and EMDR (Levels 1 & 2). I am also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. I work in both English and French.
I support adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, and relational difficulties, as well as individuals living with long-standing psychological patterns. My clinical interests include attachment trauma, personality-related difficulties (such as borderline or narcissistic traits), obsessive-compulsive patterns, Bipolar II, and neurodivergence, including autism. I am particularly drawn to working with people who feel they have been “this way for a long time” and want to understand the deeper roots of their difficulties, not just manage surface symptoms.
My journey
Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working in hospitality. I trained as a sommelier and owned and operated a small bistro in France from 2018 to 2023 — a life of long days, late nights, and deep commitment that I loved. That period taught me a great deal about responsibility, endurance, and human connection, but it was also rooted in intensity, productivity, and alcohol-centred culture.
During the pandemic, the enforced pause of lockdown led me to meditation for the first time. What began as a simple 21-day challenge became a profound shift in how I related to work, success, and wellbeing. This experience drew me away from constant striving and towards psychology, Buddhist philosophy, and a more embodied understanding of mental health.
I went on to study psychology, completed my Masters, and eventually sold the restaurant at the end of 2023. I began my therapy and yoga practices in early 2024, bringing together everything I had learned — academically, professionally, and through lived experience.
Beyond the therapy room
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time in nature, enjoy cooking and sharing good food, travel whenever I can (especially to places where I can surf), and read widely in psychology and spirituality. I live in the French Alps with my two cats, Eddie and Theo.
