Yoga classes in morzine

I teach yoga as both a movement practice and a psychological one.

My classes integrate mindfulness, breath, and physical postures to build awareness of both body and mind. We use the breath to move, to focus, and to regulate the nervous system — learning to stay calm and present, even in discomfort. These are essential skills in today’s world, where chronic stress, mental overload, and disconnection from the body have become the norm.

Whether it’s a dynamic vinyasa flow or a slower, meditative session, each class is designed to help you reconnect to your body, observe your mind, and develop tools for self-regulation, presence, and resilience.

My approach is grounded in yoga philosophy, psychology, and Zen Buddhism. It’s not about performance — it’s about practice. And in a culture that pushes constant productivity, that practice becomes a quiet form of resistance: choosing to slow down, feel, and return to what matters.

Classes take place at the Fat Fox Lodge in Montriond, or outdoors at Montriond lake when weather allows. If you’re not local, you can also explore my guided meditations online.

Mindful Mondays

dedicated to slowing down and reconnecting — with breath, body, and inner world. Blending guided meditation with gentle, conscious movement, this class is rooted in the traditional intention of yoga: the union of body and mind. Each session explores a simple psychological theme (such as grounding, boundaries, or self-compassion) to help you build awareness and emotional resilience both on and off the mat. Mindful Mondays offers a moment of calm at the start of your week — open to all levels, and especially suited to anyone craving space, stillness, and intentional movement.

Leslie Glen, Yoga Teacher trained in Goa

My yoga background & philosophy

I’ve been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years. Today my main practice is Ashtanga, which I began in 2024 during my 200hr teacher training at Sthira Yoga School in Goa, India. My practice blends physical, spiritual, and philosophical aspects, integrating Eastern teachings with Western psychology. Since 2020, I’ve also studied Buddhism, which influences my yoga classes, aiming for a holistic approach to mind-body well-being.

Follow me on social media, where I share many of my perspectives and practices:
