Beyond Burnout: A Four-Week Burnout Recovery Programme
Two four-week burnout recovery cohorts for people exhausted from repeatedly putting themselves last
You can be burned out and still be functioning.
Still working, exercising, looking after other people… still getting everything done.
But underneath, you may feel depleted, disconnected from yourself or exhausted by the constant effort of holding everything together.
Burnout isn’t always just about having too much to do. It can develop through repeatedly overriding your feelings, needs and limits; through being the dependable one, struggling to say no, taking responsibility for other people’s wellbeing and continuing to cope—even when something inside you is asking you to stop.
Beyond Burnout is a focused four-week, small-group programme designed to help you recognise the patterns contributing to your exhaustion and begin developing a more sustainable relationship with yourself.
Rather than simply finding new ways to keep going, we’ll practise slowing down, listening to yourself, recognising what you need and making small changes that support recovery.
What we’ll explore
Across the four weeks, we’ll work with:
Recognising your personal warning signs
A daily check-in with your body, thoughts, emotions and needs
Asking what could make things feel 2% better
Depletion, replenishment and what meaningful rest looks like
Identifying activities that regulate, restore and rebalance you
Recognising where you override or abandon your own needs
Beginning to say no and establish healthier boundaries
Creating small, sustainable changes that support continued recovery
The programme is intended to give you a manageable set of practical tools that you can begin using immediately—and continue using after the workshops have finished.
What to expect
Each three-hour workshop will combine:
Accessible psychological teaching
Mindfulness and embodied awareness
A guided check-in practice
Personal reflection
Practical exercises
Supportive group discussion
Opportunities to apply what you’re learning between sessions
Tea and conversation
Each cohort will initially have five places, allowing time and space for meaningful reflection, conversation and individual attention.
No previous experience of psychology or mindfulness is required.
A pilot programme
These will be the first two pilot cohorts of Beyond Burnout, developed through my work as a therapist, yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner.
The programme is being offered at a reduced introductory price. Participants will also be invited to share feedback about their experience, helping me refine and develop future versions of the programme.
